Cancer Health Services Research Workgroup mission: Advance research that informs policies and practices aimed at improving access to and delivery of affordable, efficient, high-quality cancer care, and preventive services.

Cancer Health Services Research Workgroup goals:

  • Bring together researchers from across the University of Pittsburgh who are conducting cancer related research in the areas of health services, outcomes, policy, and related fields to support current projects and promote new collaborations
  • Build data infrastructure to support quantitative secondary data analysis in cancer health services and outcomes research, potentially including claims, registry, discharge, and other administrative data
  • Identify key funding sources and support proposals for new research to advance cancer health services and outcomes research across the University of Pittsburgh
