From the Diversity in Academia Working Group at the University of Pittsburgh -
Undergraduates, graduate students, postdoctoral trainees, and junior faculty from underrepresented populations, including those with disabilities and/or from disadvantaged backgrounds, as defined by NIH, are invited to attend the virtual Diversity Supplements to Support Your Career Development session on October 24, from 3:30-5pm. We will be discussing what a diversity supplement is and how it can help you establish your research career.
The Diversity in Academia Working Group incorporates DEI leaders from the six schools of the health sciences and has been convening for over a year to highlight and support diversity-related training opportunities. We developed the infrastructure at Pitt to help you! Attend this session to learn more.
