Alexandra Bhatti is a public health attorney with nearly a decade of vaccine programmatic and policy experience in the government and private sectors. She is currently director of U.S. Vaccine Public Policy at Merck & Co., where she leads state and federal vaccine policy development and research, and federal vaccine policy advocacy. She has also served as a faculty member at Arizona State University for more than six years.
Previously, Bhatti was a public health attorney at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention where she led vaccine-related legal research. She was also a manager within the Arizona Department of Health and began her public health career there.
Bhatti earned her BS in molecular biosciences and biotechnology from Arizona State University and her MPH from Pitt’s Graduate School of Public Health. She then went on to earn her JD from Arizona Summit Law School.
