Zack Zambrano (HPM ’20), Megan Preti (HPM ’20), and Jordan McBride (HPM ’21) placed 2nd at the 5th Annual Robbins Case Competition in Healthcare Management at Baylor University in October 2019. The team was coached by faculty advisor Dr. Kevin Broom, and the student observer was Erik Hames (HPM ’22). The team representing Pitt Public Health outshined teams from other notable institutions including University of Alabama-Birmingham, Rush University, University of Iowa, Ohio State University, Cornell University, George Washington University, University of Toronto, Saint Louis University, and University of Colorado-Denver. The invitation-only competition is a great opportunity for Pitt students to network with others from top healthcare management programs as well as the healthcare industry professionals who serve as judges, case developers, and program sponsors.
