Pitt Public Health and several departments and programs perform well in the latest graduate school rankings.
The U.S. News and World Report 2023 graduate school rankings have been released and Pitt Public Health had a notable performance. Health Care Management jumped several spots to No. 14 – the MHA program managed through the school’s Department of Health Policy and Management. The school maintained its No. 15 overall ranking and also ranked No. 15 for Epidemiology. Environmental Health Sciences (Department of Environmental and Occupational Health) and Health Policy and Management both ranked No. 16, and Biostatistics ranked No. 19.
“No ranking system can truly capture everything our school, departments and programs have to offer, but it can be an important element in students’ decision-making when choosing a graduate program,” says Dean Maureen Lichtveld. “As one of the top recipients of research funding from the National Institutes of Health, we know Pitt Public Health to be among the best choices for students in shaping the future of public health.”
