Our research interests center around the response of the mitochondria and hemoglobin to environmental stressors (i.e. cyanide, sulfide and radiation). Electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR), done in conjunction with Prof. Mike Hendrich at CMU, also provides a useful probe for our investigations.
