Our graduates are specially prepared to address biostatistical and health data science problems through innovative methodological research and multidisciplinary collaboration. Our important work has a major impact on the prevention and treatment of disease.

75 students make up the Department of Biostatistics - 36 MS and 39 PhD students. Last year, nine students won 11 national awards. Faculty taught 44 courses and published 149 times.
