Dear Pitt Public Health Community,
Thank you for welcoming me warmly into your midst this past year.
Together, we have accomplished a great deal. We have established the BSPH program, experienced growth in our graduate student body, welcomed more diverse faculty, staff and students into our school, bolstered our research, and engaged with our communities and public health officials locally and at the state level.
In 2022, we will welcome new leaders, realize our priorities, prepare for our reaccreditation, and begin celebrating our 75th anniversary in 2023!
None of this would have been possible without your hard work in nurturing each other, respecting our values, and assuring our resilience.
More than ever, we commit to making science work for our communities.
