Biostatistics departmental award recipient for Dean's Day 2021


The Department of Biostatistics awarded two prizes.

One to Wei Zong ('23) for the poster, Diurnal rhytms across the human dorsal and ventral striatum.

And one to Xinjun Wang ('22), SECANT: a biology-guided Semi-supervised method for Clustering, classification, and ANnoTation of single-cell multi-omics.


Dean's Day is an annual student research competition. Students present their research during multiple poster sessions while faculty members judge presentations for prizes and students evaluate posters for Grand Rounds credit. The Dean invites selected presenters to give oral presentations of their work during the awards ceremony.
