Among our many students and faculty members recognized at last week's annual Honors Convocation ceremony, I'm especially proud of three faculty members recognized with major University-wide awards: 

• BCHS's Thistle Elias was presented with the 2019 Chancellor’s Distinguished Public Service Award.
• Human genetics's Robin Grubs was presented with the 2019 Chancellor’s Distinguished Teaching Award.
• Biostatistics's George Tseng was presented with the 2019 Provost’s Award for Excellence in Mentoring.
