BCHS MPH Student elected to Pitt's Graduate and Professional Student Government (GPSG)


Monica Kohli is a first year Masters student in the Graduate School of Public Health in the department of Behavioral and Community Health Sciences. Prior to embarking upon her graduate education, she completed her Bachelor’s in Anthropology and Chemistry at New York University. Her current concentration is Women’s Health, and she is passionate to improve the well-being of women through empowering them and vocalizing their needs. For the past year, she served on the Graduate and Professional Student Government (GPSG) Event Planning Committee as the Social Communications Chair. She dedicated her time to networking with the various student government groups and exploring ways to better connect the Pitt Graduate Community. She intends bring her passion for people and networking skills to the Communications Committee. As VP of Communications she hopes to take an innovative direction towards facilitating and enhancing the graduate student voice.
