Dr. Strotmeyer receives the 2007 Gerontological Society of America Health Sciences Research Award

Dr. Elsa S. Strotmeyer received the Gerontological Society of America Health Science Research Award on November 18, 2007, at the 60th Annual Meeting. She was presented with this award for her paper presentation, "Sensory and motor peripheral nerve function and lower-extremity muscle strength in older adults: The Health, Aging and Body Composition Study." The Health Sciences Research Award is given to a junior investigator in the Health Sciences Section.
