Kara will be interning for the Communications and Outreach Program. Her responsibilities include assisting the communications program in the production and distribution of OCCAM announcements, helping to research, write, and edit OCCAM publications, assisting with OCCAM website maintenance, and monitoring and compiling daily cancer CAM news articles for the office.
Additional responsibilities include internship specific projects involving the development of patient education material focused on the use of Complementary and Alternative Medicine in cancer diagnoses.
