It has been nearly nine years since C.C. Li, our friend and colleague, passed away on October 20, 2003, one week shy of his 91st birthday. As you know, to honor C.C.'s memory, the Department of Human Genetics and the Graduate School of Public Health have established the C.C. Li Memorial Lecture. This lecture is to be given annually to commemorate C.C.'s life and work.
The 9th Annual C.C. Li Memorial Lecture will be held on Friday, April 20, 2012, 12:00 Noon, at the Graduate School of Public Health, A115 Crabtree Hall Auditorium. Presenting the lecture, please welcome Angela C. Obringer, PhD, Assistant Professor, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, West Virginia University, School of Medicine.
