Roberta B. Ness, MD, MPH Chair, Department of Epidemiology and Professor of Epidemiology, Medicine and Ob/Gyn, has been selected to receive the Girl Scouts Women and Girls of Distinction Honoree in Technology and Innovations 2008 Award.

The Women & Girls of Distinction Award recognizes twelve outstanding women and girls from the region who have excelled in one of the following six award categories: Arts & Humanities, Advocacy, Community Service, Healthy Initiatives, Professional / Leadership, and Technology & Innovation. 

Samuel Stebbins, MD, MPH, Director, Center for Public Health Preparedness is happy to report that he has been accepted as a Scholar in the National Public Health Leadership Institute
