Jessica Salerno awarded 2017-18 Bob Yee Scholarship 


Jessica Salerno (IDM '19) was awarded a 2017 Bob Yee Public Health Scholarship. A native of Pittsburgh, Salerno is pursuing an MPH with a concentration in infectious disease management, intervention, and community practice (MPH-MIC). She holds an undergraduate anthropology degree from the University of Pittsburgh (2012) and is interested in traveling, reading, and animals.

Named in honor of professor emeritus Robert B. Yee, and funded by generous contributions by alumni and friends of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Microbiology, this scholarship is awarded to three incoming IDM master's students (MPH or MS) each year based on academic merit.
