Molecular basis of chemical-induced acute lung injury – The etiology of acute lung injury is complex and can be induced by numerous causes such as sepsis, trauma, pneumonia, and inhaled chemicals.  Using a mouse exposure model and tissue culture, we are investigating mechanisms critical to acrolein-induced acute lung injury.
