Registration: Take A Health Professional to the People Day

Thursday 4/7 10:00AM - 2:00PM
Pittsburgh, PA
The Center for Health Equity is hosting its annual Take A Health Professional to the People Day (TADay) event on Thursday, April 7, 2016. TADay is a health promotion and disease prevention initiative that takes place in five African American owned and operated barbershops in several Pittsburgh neighborhoods. Health professionals from all disciplines, public health educators, students in the six schools of the health sciences, and health-related organizations are invited to participate by offering health screenings, education, and health resources onsite at participating barbershops. This community outreach initiative is a wonderful opportunity to provide health resources for African American men.
