Event changes/cancellations due to COVID-19

The University's Guidance on Events and Gatherings directs that "In order to promote social distancing, any nonessential gathering or event with more than 25 participants scheduled through April 17, 2020, should be canceled, postponed or moved to a virtual event. No new events should be scheduled at this time. Additionally, nonessential meetings or events of any size should be reconsidered."

As many events and gatherings will be impacted over the coming weeks, before attendingplease confirm whether an event has been canceled or moved online. Check for the latest updates and cancellations.

Interactions and Arrangements with Students Experiencing Mental Health Concerns

A faculty panel featuring Greg Siegel, associate professor of psychiatry, psychology, and clinical and translational science; Christina Newhill, professor of social work; Travis Labrum, assistant professor of social work. Moderated by Linda Tashbook, foreign international comparative law librarian. Part of the Faculty Development Workshop Series | Academics as Leaders. 

Join Faculty Affairs, Development, and Diversity on the first Monday of each month to develop your leadership skills. These workshops are open to all faculty but are geared toward: 

  • Department and division chairs
  • Associate deans and vice presidents for academic affairs
  • Faculty who are currently in, or aspire to be in, administrative roles

Registration is required and a light lunch will be served.
