Lyn Robertson is the associate director for health equity and community outreach and engagement at the UPMC Hillman Cancer
Center (HCC). Her primary focus is addressing health inequities within HCC’s 29-county catchment area, addressing access to care-related issues, decreasing cancer burdens, and improving health outcomes through the implementation of evidence-based interventions.
Robertson also has an extensive and wide-ranging background in oncology—including breast, lung and colorectal cancers. She is
conducting substantial community-based research on several funded studies, including site-PI on a recently completed R01. She also holds faculty positions in the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Medicine, School of Nursing and Graduate School of Public Health.
Robertson earned her BSN at Carlow University. She earned both her MSN at Pitt’s School of Medicine and her DrPH at the Graduate School of Public Health.
