Dean's Day 2021 BCHS departmental award recipients


Every year for Dean's Day, the Department of Behavioral and Community Health Sciences awards two prizes for its students.

This year's winner for the master's category is Chinwoke Isiguzo (BCHS '23) who presented a poster on Beyond Pounds: Challenges and Benefits of a Food Bank Implementing a Mobile Farmers Market to Address Food Insecurity. 

For the doctoral category, this year's winner is Sarah Sanders (BCHS '22) who presented a poster on Evaluation outcomes of a targeted marketing and education intervention for a mobile food market.

Dean's Day is an annual student research competition. Students present their research during multiple poster sessions while faculty members judge presentations for prizes and students evaluate posters for Grand Rounds credit. The Dean invites selected presenters to give oral presentations of their work during the awards ceremony.
