UNIVERSITY RESEARCH COUNCIL FUNDING OPPORTUNITY

The Office of the Provost and the University Research Council announces a funding opportunity for research in diversity. We invite faculty, post-doctoral fellows, and graduate students to submit proposals that support high quality research in the area of diversity.

This includes, but is not limited to, issues concerning:

Race and ethnicity
Intersectionality
LGBTQIA
Persons with disabilities
Veterans
Ageism
Gender equity
Social justice
International populations

The goal of this one-year project is to not only develop or advance research in the area of
diversity and inclusion, but also to promote interdisciplinary collaboration and new research
partnerships.It is anticipated that 15-20 projects will be funded at $1,000-$5000 each.

The online application deadline is March 31, 2017. Notice of awards is expected to occur in
May 2017, with the one year funding to begin on July 1, 2017 and end on June 30, 2018.
