John Scott (BIOS ’08) is acting deputy director of the Division of Biostatistics at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER) in Washington, D.C. Prior to this position, he was acting team leader for hematology and mathematical statistician in the Therapeutics Evaluation Branch at CBER. He also worked as a statistician at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic of UPMC, primarily in clinical trials in adult affective disorders, behavioral pharmacology, and sleep medicine.
