International student service trip to Lima, Peru

The mission of the Pitt Public Health GLOBAL HEALTH STUDENT ASSOCIATION is to promote global health awareness, provide forums to discuss issues on global health, foster partnerships with local and international organizations, and to advocate for students to engage in global health work and research. We are happy to announce that for the first time in our organization’s history, we will be traveling abroad to participate in our first international volunteer service trip to Lima, Peru. During our week in Lima, we will be volunteering in a mobile clinic, facilitating public health education workshops, and participating in a community sustainability project. As you can imagine, there are many costs associated with traveling abroad and we need your support to help us get our entire organization to Peru.

This trip will not be possible for many students without your financial support. Please consider making a gift to the Global Health Student Association by visiting https://engage.pitt.edu/ghsa. All donations are tax deductible: 100% will be considered a gift to Pitt and will be received by our organization. A tax receipt will be mailed to contributors. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Julia Carter at 570-751-6340 or jdc121@pitt.edu. Thank you in advance for your consideration and support!
