Sally C. Morton, Ph.D., professor of biostatistics, recently was appointed to the U.S. Census Bureau\'s Scientific Advisory Committee, which provides advice on the design and implementation of Census Bureau programs. U.S. Census Bureau Director Robert Groves called the 10 new members and the new chairwoman “leading voices from the scientific community.”
