Dr. Lewis Kuller, professor emeritus and distinguished university professor of public health, has been selected to receive the 2013 Population Prize by the American Heart Association. This annual prize is awarded to a recipient in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the advancement of cardiovascular science. Dr. Kuller will receive the award at the 2013 Scientific Sessions in Dallas, TX in November.
