Accreditation

The Graduate School of Public Health (Pitt Public Health) is accredited by the Council for Education on Public Health (CEPH). We were last accredited in 2015 for a full period of seven years. The final self-study for our 2015 re-accreditation and accompanying Electronic Resource File are available below as well as the Final Report from CEPH, received in November 2015.

Program-specific accreditation

The MHA program in the department of health policy and management is accredited through the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME).
The MS in genetic counseling is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Genetic Counseling (ACGC).

University accreditation

The University of Pittsburgh is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, 3624 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104, 267-284-5000. The university's most recent re-accreditation occurred in 2012 which resulted in a 10 year re-accreditation renewal.
